Signs of lovebird illness:

 

-Constant fluffed feathers

-Constant closed eyes

-Loss of apetitite

-Lethargy (constant sleepiness)

-Odd droppings

-Loss in weight

-Loss interest in surroundings and toys

-Difficulty in breathing or sneezing

-Constant scratching 

-Unusual silence

-Ususual discharge from eyes and beak

 

Signs that need emergency care:

 

-Bleeding

-Constipation

-Exposed to toxic fumes or consumed poisonous food

-Missed or damaged beak

-Bitten or clawed by other pets

-Difficulty breathing

 

Cornstarch can control bleeding, but large cuts require immediate vet care.
